Annual Meeting & Summer Social

We’re excited to announce that our Annual Meeting & Summer Social guest speaker is Dan Gardoqui, a local bird whisperer, expert naturalist, and educator. Dan was recently featured on News Center Maine’s 207 program.  He will share how to deepen your relationship with birds by better understanding what they’re telling you.

The event will be held on Tuesday, August 24th at the Brick Store Museum’s Program Center, located at 4 Dane Street, Kennebunk, ME 04043. A social with light refreshments begins at 6pm followed by a brief KLT Annual Meeting and Dan’s presentation at 6:30pm. This program is free and open to the public. RSVP encouraged but not required.  Seating limited. Masks required. Submit the form, below, to RSVP.

About Dan: Check out the Maine 207 link to see Dan in action! Dan Gardoqui has been studying naturalist skills, wildlife tracking, bird language, and mentoring for nearly 30 years. Dan has a M.S. in Natural Resources, is a Certified Wildlife Tracker, Registered Maine Guide, and served as Science Faculty at Granite State College. Through wildlife tracking, Dan has contributed to wildlife studies and served as science editor for the bird language book What the Robin Knows. Dan co-founded and led the nature connection nonprofit, White Pine Programs for 20 years. He currently runs Lead with Nature, where he helps leaders find success and meaning through nature-based consulting services & adventures.
